By accessing or using Pole to Paddock (“the Site” or “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site. We may update these Terms at any time. When we make changes, the “Last updated” date at the top will be revised. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Pole to Paddock is a free, fan-operated resource that aggregates publicly available Formula 1 data including race schedules, standings, telemetry, and driver/team information. The Site is intended for informational and entertainment purposes only. The Site also offers interactive features such as a prediction game (“Pick'em”) and other fan engagement tools. The Site also offers the Paddock Exchange, a virtual stock-market-style game where users trade simulated driver shares using virtual currency. All currency within the Exchange is fictional and has no real-world monetary value. The Exchange requires account registration.
The general informational content of the Site (race results, standings, schedules, and statistics) is available to users of all ages and does not require any data collection.
To participate in interactive features that collect information, such as the Pick'em prediction game, you must be at least 13 years of age. By using these features, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
To create a Paddock Exchange account, you must be at least 13 years of age. The Exchange involves simulated trading of virtual shares using virtual currency only. No real money is involved, and no financial advice is provided. Virtual currency and virtual shares have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real currency.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information as promptly as possible. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information in Section 17.

Violations may result in removal of your content, restriction of your access to interactive features, or termination of your ability to use the Service.
Certain features of the Site, such as the prediction game, allow you to create a display name. You are solely responsible for the content of your display name. By creating a display name, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that name within the Service (for example, on leaderboards).
We do not claim ownership of your display name. We are not obligated to monitor all display names but reserve the right to do so. We may remove or modify any display name that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms, without prior notice.
Paddock Exchange accounts are personal to you. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
The Site's design, code, and original written content are owned by Pole to Paddock. Formula 1 data displayed on the Site originates from publicly available community APIs and is presented for informational purposes. We do not claim ownership of any Formula 1 data, trademarks, or media belonging to third parties.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Site's original content or software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except as permitted by law.
The Site may contain links to external websites, APIs, or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those third-party resources. Visiting external links is at your own discretion and risk.
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or timeliness of any data or content.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pole to Paddock and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, including but not limited to damages for loss of data, revenue, profits, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00 USD). This limitation applies regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pole to Paddock and its operators, affiliates, and contributors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right; or (d) any display name or other content you submit to the Service.
This indemnification obligation will survive termination of these Terms and your use of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. Termination may include blocking your device identifier from accessing interactive features, suspending your Exchange account, or restricting access to the Site entirely.
You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have a Paddock Exchange account, you can delete it directly from the Exchange Settings page. To request deletion of any other data associated with your device identifier (such as prediction game entries and display names), contact us using the information in Section 17.
Upon termination, any prediction game data, display names, or other information associated with your device may be deleted. Sections 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16 of these Terms survive any termination.
Informal Resolution First. Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at hello@poletopaddock.com. Please include a description of the dispute and your desired resolution. We will try to resolve the dispute informally within sixty (60) days. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, either party may proceed as described below.
Binding Arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved informally, you and Pole to Paddock agree to resolve any claim, dispute, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may bring an individual action in small claims court if the claim qualifies. The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator and shall take place in the State of California. You may elect to participate remotely by phone or video conference.
Class Action Waiver.
You and Pole to Paddock agree that any proceedings to resolve disputes will be conducted solely on an individual basis. You waive the right to participate in a class action, collective action, private attorney general action, or other representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.
Opt-Out. You may opt out of the arbitration and class action waiver provisions by sending written notice to hello@poletopaddock.com with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” within thirty (30) days of first accessing the Service. If you opt out, you and Pole to Paddock agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California for resolution of any dispute.
Exceptions. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for matters related to intellectual property rights or unauthorized access to the Service.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of the arbitration provisions in Section 15. For any disputes not subject to arbitration, you agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.
If you have questions, concerns, or disputes regarding these Terms, you can reach us at hello@poletopaddock.com.
