Pick a driver to finish top 10 each Grand Prix. P11 or lower, or a DNF, costs a life. You have two lives, can use each driver twice, and the last one standing wins. Full rules
The Survivor Pool is a free Formula 1 elimination game. Each Grand Prix you pick one driver to finish in the top 10, and you stay alive as long as your picks hold up. The 2026 trial pool runs the final four races, from Brazil to Abu Dhabi.
Before lights out, choose a driver you think will finish in the top 10. Only Grand Prix races count, sprints do not.
A driver who finishes P11 or lower, or does not finish, costs you a life.
Lose both and you are out. Missing a pick costs a life too.
There are more races than drivers, so you can use each driver up to two times a season. Picks you make ahead of time count toward that limit.
If your driver does not start, the race is voided: you lose no life and the pick does not count as a use.
If the last players all go out in the same race, they share the win.
If players are level on lives and races survived, the one whose picks scored the most championship points ranks higher. A star driver is the safe pick, but you can only use each one twice.
All 22 drivers on the 2026 grid are available. Read up on a driver before you use one of their two picks.
A free elimination game for Formula 1 fans, based on the survivor pools American football fans play. Each Grand Prix you pick one driver to finish in the top 10. If your driver finishes P11 or lower, or does not finish, you lose a life. Lose both lives and you are out.
By being the last player alive. If the final players are all eliminated in the same race, they share the win. Players are ranked by whether they are still alive, then by lives left, then by races survived, then by the championship points their picks scored.
The tiebreaker decides. Players level on lives and races survived are ranked by the championship points their picks scored, so a podium finisher is worth more than a driver who scrapes into P10. If players are still level after the final race, they share the win.
Each driver card shows how many of this season's Grands Prix they finished in the top 10, such as 18 of 19, and the starting grid once qualifying is in. Sort by Safest to see the most reliable drivers first, or Available to hide anyone you have used twice.
Yes, up to twice a season. With 22 drivers and 23 races you could not play a full season if every driver could be used only once, so each one is available two times. Picks you make for future races count toward the limit straight away.
It counts as a loss and costs a life, the same as finishing outside the top 10. A driver is only counted as a finisher if the official classification gives them a finishing position.
If your driver does not start, the race is voided for your pick. You keep your life and the pick does not count toward the two-use limit, so a late driver swap never hurts you. Change your pick before the race locks if you know about it in time.
At the scheduled start of each Grand Prix. You can change or clear a pick any time before then. Your pick stays hidden from other players until the race is decided.
